8 ASH HAS UNTIL WEDNESDAY. SHE NEEDS A WAY OUT. &
Ash is a young Dane/Lab mix at San Benito County Animal Shelter in Texas, and Wednesday is her
hard date. If she doesn’t have a foster or foster-to-adopt commitment, she is out of time.
ASH
San Benito, TX
#, Female | Best guess 12-18 months
“% Dane/Lab mix — a little larger than a Lab
3 Needs a foster or foster-to-adopt
Ash was picked up as a stray wearing a collar, but no one came looking for her. The shelter describes
her as “very friendly.” She hasn't been able to participate in a playgroup, but she has been completely
nonreactive with other dogs with no agitation noted.
A lot about Ash is still unknown because of her shelter situation:
« Dog friendly: Unable to formally test, but no reactivity observed
« Cats: Unknown — testing is planned
« Leash skills: Unknown
« Housebroken: Unknown
« Medical history: Unknown
« No known medical issues provided
And that's exactly why she needs someone to step up before Wednesday. She needs someone willing
to give her a safe place to land so we can learn who she is outside of a shelter kennel.
Can you foster Ash? Or would you consider foster-to-adopt?
